Boyd and Ashland have to play Districts 1st. There is no guarantee that they will play for Region Championship. Region will feature a very good Russell team that took Boyd to the wire and an excellent young West Carter team. Russell is finally getting healthy and the jury is still out on WC as they haven't played Boyd/Russell/Ashland as of yet. That being said - if Boyd and Ashland do make it to the Region championship game it would be a 4th matchup. Usually when teams play that many times it's tough to call. As far as who is the better "16th Region" player I stick with last years MOP and I'd have to say this years also- because we are ranking them as 16th Region HS players and not future WNBA or College potential.
