You said it with their D. People didn't realize just how fast and physical they were unless you played them.

I knew how good Franklin-Simpson was & when they beat them the way they did; that's all I needed for confirmation. I think some things in that game kind of snowballed at times for FS as the game went on (1st half was really close), but regardless.

CAL and Boyle beat them (they were up on CAL 9-7 at half & as mentioned before the Boyle game was 0-0 into the 4th quarter, Glasgow & LaRue were both good games with them winning. Glasgow came down to the wire and the LaRue game was a good one despite the final score (14-7 half; 28-13 with 2:00 left); other than that it was clock city & fast......they scored at will and gave their opponents NOTHING.

Nobody in 3A was going to be big enough to stop our running game but Etown and Danville were FAST enough to do it. Both of which were bad matchups for our OL. I was told leading up to the Etown game that it would be a war and that their D was fast and would bring it! I was told correctly.

I knew that Central would be a more difficult matchup for us compared to Corbin (although I felt we had passed our toughest test already) so I was pretty calm and confident for the title game.
