This is a general discussion forum and anything can be discussed in this forum as long as it doesn't violate the rules of BGR.  This is an issue that has made National News during the past few years.  It is also legal in several states for medical reasons.  I see no harm in a debate about the subject.  No one here is looking to promote the use of Marijuana for anyone.  We are only debating a topic that many people have an opinion on.  I will let you know that this same topic has been debated on many other site and one that could be considered a rival.  I don't feel as if I have violated any rules and have been very fair with my view of the subject.
