high school referees what can you do about it? not this particular game but we've been screwed more at home than anywhere. the first Paintsville game it was what the refs let go that bothered me not the actual in game penalties. Paintsville is used to playing in an environment where they let things go. Raceland is used to playing in a controlled environment. hence that's why Paintsville fans go nuts over the refs when they play at Raceland. they called a lot of personal fouls and un sportsman likes against them. up there they let that stuff go. everybody from Raceland new that in the regional final that if we got refs who controlled the emotional part of the game that we would win. as for the game Friday Im sure they probably missed a call or two on us. but I didn't see anything egregious called on Pikeville. the false starts were definitely there. they could have called more

But this crew was a mix that according to someone had never worked together before AND were not supposed to be from the area. So that excuse is out the window. They want to control it? Fine, control it both ways. No way at all that there were not some holding, etc to be called on the Raceland plays. I know for a fact I saw two or three during those “big runs Pikeville had no answer for”. Still have to step up and execute, but it’s hard to do when you get behind the chains on every freaking series and thenother team never does. I’ve not seen the replay yet on the personal foul on that punt. Initial reaction was I did not see him signal fair catch and I thought our player got him same time ball hit his hands.
