I agree with almost everything said here. My dilemma, and not wanting to hurt a man's earnings, but the dilemma of when to report officiating? How bad would it really have to be? I'm not talking judgement calls, but procedural rules, that happen all night long, etc..? I have found good officials will listen if you make them aware of certain things, at least they'll start looking out for it. What if an official actually verbally told someone "someone is going to win this game tonight, and it's not gonna be you?"...I mean, hypothetically speaking...

I had a basketball official come to me during warmups and say, "I'm going to be watching you big boy." I think I fouled out before the tipoff.
