There players unfortunately never got to play for Mueller. They never got to know his personality and coaching greatness. I’m not sure if the players like this coach. He’s totally different from Mueller. Things don’t last forever. He refuses to play his best players both ways. But I doubt they’re in shape to do it. The running conditioning is suspect. Quit trying to be a pro team. Go back to basics. Two backs at all times. And get under center more. 2 receivers are enough. You can always use a running back on certain pass plays. They can score now. But can’t stop anyone. Run a 4-3 or 5-2 defense. The 3-5 isn’t working and either did the 3-4. And if some of your offensive guys could go both ways. It would be a much improved defense.
