MEDFORD, N.J. (LEX 18/NBC Philadelphia) -A helicopter crash at the Flying W Airport in Medford, N.J. has resulted in the death of country music star Troy Gentry.
Sources confirm to LEX 18 that Gentry was killed in the crash.
Gentry was one-half of the duo of the Kentucky-based group Montgomery Gentry. The crash occurred around noon Friday. Two individuals were killed. Eddie Montgomery was not onboard the helicopter.
The Montgomery Gentry concert was cancelled in the immediate aftermath before the identity of the victims was released. He graduated from the University of Kentucky.
