Zip codes don't really matter. Don't know if this is still the case, but through 2013, folks outside of the Corbin district at least talked about assigning "educational guardianship" of their kids to a relative or friend within the district. A number of parents used their business addresses to send their kids to Corbin. There were quite a few kids from outside the district who attend the Corbin schools. That used to be part of a reciprocity agreement. Again, not sure if that is still the case. There was a big stink over recirproity between Corbin and Knox Co due to lost funding for the Knox schools. All that may have been cleared up in the past few years though.

Corbin can take approximately 406 kids from Knox per their reciprocal agreement.
