The only fault I had with Trump's statements is that he did not simply declare the obvious. The KKK, BLM, and Antifada groups are all violent organizations that can accurately be described as terrorist organizations. Peaceful protests do not feature thugs brandishing clubs and projectiles.

Trump missed an opportunity to draw even more attention to all of the disgusting thugs that reared their ugly heads in Charlottesville. He could have played the violent video footage that the media refused to share with the public.

He may yet get some mileage out of it.
