2017 Minor League Baseball talk
#38
Columbus Clippers(Indians) 7 Gwinnett Braves 6
This one turned out to be one of the better games I have listened to this season.

Eric Stamets homers (7) to make it 1-0 Columbus after two.

Ozzie Albies homers (4) to tie it back up at one, in the top of the third.

Eric Stamets homers (8) to put Columbus back up 2-1 to the one after four,

Tyler Naquin homers (2) and the Clippers had a 3-1 lead, after five innings of play.

The Braves came back with five in the sixth to take a 6-3 lead.
Carlos Franco doubles (3) on a line drive to left fielder Chris Colabello. Jace Peterson scores. Dustin Peterson scores. Matt Tuiasosopo scores and this was a 4-3 Braves lead.
Kyle Kubitza out on a sacrifice fly to center fielder Tyler Naquin. Carlos Franco scores and it was a 5-3 Braves lead.
Xavier Avery singled a run it and this was a 6-3 Braves lead.

Eric Stamets homers (9) another solo shot, his third of the game to make this a 6-4 game after six.

Richie Shaffer homers (15) on a fly ball to left center field. Joe Sever scores and this one was locked up at six. Shaffer now leads the International league in home runs.

Columbus would get the win in the bottom of the ninth, on a Chris Colabello double (10)

Final 7-6 Columbus.

David Speer (W, 1-0)
Mauricio Cabrera (L, 2-2)

Braves 35-31
Clippers 33-33
