In baseball the 55th hasn't had a team even reach the regoinal finals in nearly 20 years. That was Knott Central in 1999 and John Meehan was coaching. Over that same span the 54th and 56th have had 3 teams each reach the finals, with 5 winning region, 53rd has had 2 reach finals and both have won region.

Between Wolfe, Breathitt, Jackson, and Riverside they have one regional title, BC in 1978. The 55th is by far the weakest district, and has been for a while now.
