I had the chance to talk with Tyler Brown's father this past week while we were signing papers for my wife's new vehicle. Tyler was Midland's QB in 2015 when Belfry played them for the first time. His dad said this was the year that Midland had been pointing to as far as their O line is concerned and they expected to have a good team. It will definitely be another good test for Belfry.
As far as what we lost it cannot be replaced, but they are gone. I base my expectations on what we have coming back and that is exciting. Lots of young guys get to step up and shine and the veterans coming back are all really good football players. I expect another great year and I figure Belfry will be right back in the thick of it all again and then the years ahead they look loaded too.
Just another note...Tayveon and Hensley went 1-2 in the regional 100 meters and Hensley won the 200.
