Where is Louisville Trinity, Cincinnati Moeller, Indiapolis Ben Davis, Lakeland Florida???? Thought they were beefing up the schedule???? Two little West Virginia teams and Johnson Central? Easty wins for the Pirates. 15-0 again.

Hyperbole aside I don't think the 2017 schedule is as hard as the 2015 or 2016 schedules.

Huntington is an improvement over Tates Creek.

Midland will be better than last year but not as good as 2015.

Johnson Central will be excellent but probably not as good as last year (probably comparable or slightly better than 2015)

Pikeville will be nowhere near 2015 and weaker than 2016.

You replace a great Knoxville Catholic team and an average Harlan County team with an good but not special Bryan Station and a weak District foe in Floyd Central. Sheldon Clark is comparable to 2015 and the 2017 version is a good bit weaker than the Cleveland OH team they played in their place last year.





Not a killer schedule whatsoever but also definitely a high quality schedule for a 3A team. I think it works though for this Belfry team. 2015 and 2016 were probably the two toughest schedules in school history but it was probably also the two best Belfry teams of all-time as well.
