Sorry guys but what is the rule for a spectator going on the floor during a dead ball timeout, whether it be a cheerleader in street clothes or a regular fan?
Just curious is it really suppose to be a technical.

Have no clue of what happened, but there should be no penelty for a fan. If there was, why not wear other team appeal and do this to get a t on your opponent. Thy are not bench personnel, so no penalty would be warranted by a rule. Game management could have them removed from the gym if it is a disturbance. But usually a good "stay off the floor" talking too during a timeout is sufficient.

But no reason for a technical foul ever on a fan. Remove them from the gym if they are out of line and protesting. If cheering their team just have game management keep floor clear.
