Better rethink that statement. Shelby Valley is loaded with young players all the way thru middle school, Johnson Central has good groups coming, Paintsville will be tough next couple of years. thats just 3 teams off top of my head. Just done a little fact checking on coach Newsome statement

2012/13 with Allen Central 18-14 won district lost region semi final
2014/15 with Pike Central 11-17 lost 1st round of district
2015/16 with Pike Central 12-18 lost 1st round of district
Total 41-49

Region semi finals looks like winning to me... He didn't inherit anything at pike central but I will bet you he won't have another 12-18 season this year. He has young players which mean they are going to get better. If you're saying he can't compete in that region, you better "rethink". 15th is one of the weakest regions in the state. What was the finals score last year??? O yea, like 21-20 lol
