One thing that really bothered me was seeing Nathaniel nearly have to burn a time out to get a play from Mike with 8 seconds on the play clock bc he was too busy rippin a kids rear end. NO ONE, not Francis, Not Hoof, not Lewis, Not Fannin, not even the kids on the field, have had any say so in the play calling this year. Im not saying it cost us the game, but it was just one of the things that contributed to the first half going the way it did. That has been a common thing for the team under Mike though. Slow starts, then pick it up a little, slow start again out of the gate, then play like hell and win or make a play out of it. A team is reflective of its coach, ours was just that. I think Mike could be a good HC, but he needs to let find an OC he can depened on.

I don't see Raceland going any farther in the playoffs until this changes. Salmons is a direct extension of Bill Tom Ross and with Ross it was his way or the highway.

I think our offense peaked against Valley and it never looked the same again. The play calling became conservative and sporadic. I would say the majority of our second down plays last night started in the negative.

There's so many things I would like to see change, the biggest being our blocking schemes. We need to be driving people off the ball and not brush blocking and washing everything down.

I'm so frustrated!
