We all know the Wikipedia is an accurate source of information.... but somebody needs to check the official KHSAA website for who won the 1977 KHSAA 4A state football championship.

There were two teams involved, Greenup County & Trinity (Louisville)......
The playoffs were differnt then. 4a was the largest class. The winner of 4a in the rest of the state was called 4a champion at large. Then that team would play the best Louisville school that year who was trinity in 77. This made GC state champ at large and Trinity state champ.
