You all go ahead and hire a guy from Clay Co. don't look outside and see how you do!!! Sick of hearing that crap JUST HIRE THE BEST COACH YOU CAN GET AND WHO GIVES A DAMN IF HE MOVES THERE!!!!!!

I think at this point the community and players have been consistently burnt by outta towners that they don't want to go that route if the coach want's to continue to be from out of town. I think as a coach you need to be part of the community on a regular basis. Like CC Football says, on a snow day are you going to do the little things like open the weight room, film on weekends, be a presence at the youth level, JV games, etc etc if it's an 1+ drive? Some would, but they wouldn't stick around very long because they would be looking for something more convenient for them.
