District 7
This may again be the tightest district in the state.

Lexington Christian Academy
This team if not for Danville would have been the buzz in all of the east last year. They finished up at 8-5. They lost only 8 seniors from a squad of 45. It would appear though that 6 of those were starters. They return one of the better qb's in 2a. I expect the Eagles to win the district and region. I do expect them to fold under the pressure of the other private school from the north at substate.

Danville
It's gonna be hard for the Ads to duplicate last years success with the losses they took. The Ads finished last year at 12-2 and sub state runners up. They were however hit hard by graduation. They lost 16 from a squad of 48. 10 of those were either starters or had substantial playing roles. This from a team that played a lot of iron man football. I still think they have enough speed and tradition to hold at least the district runner up spot.

Somerset
The Bunnies are trying to return to dominance but, are still at least another year away. The bunnies finished last year at 6-5. They also lost 10 from a squad of 47. It appears only 4 of those were starters though. They should tighten things up a bit more this year but, I look for them to finish in the same spot.

Middlesboro
Again, the numbers say it all. Finished last year at 1-10. They lost 7 seniors from a squad of just 28.
