Here is the argument that the liberals will use....

Anybody on a 'No Fly' list, terrorism watch list, has a felony conviction or has been diagnosed with a history of a mental illness will not be able to purchase a firearm.

Best case scenario, every criminal, terrorist & mental health patient goes to their local courthouse and registers as somebody who can't legally buy a gun. But the brains behind this movement must be idiotic to believe that anybody on any type of Government list can't obtain a firearm.


They will ROB somebody who does own weapons, they will KILL somebody by using a different type of a weapon. They will pay extra money to somebody who can legally buy a weapon. If a criminal or a terrorist wants a gun, they will get a gun.



Let's just say that congress and the Supreme Court pass all types of new 'Gun Control' measures in an effort to make us 'Safer' from these weapons of war.... but there is another mass shooting incident similar to Orlando.
The next thing we will hear is.... "Our new 'Gun Control' measures aren't working, we need to start banning certain types of weapons, magazines and ammunition so that only the Military, Federal, State & Local police have access to them."






Give them an inch.... and they'll take 5,000 miles.

Of course you are right about this. I would add that adding one to a no fly no buy list whether that be out of prudence, or whether that be supposedly by convenient mistake, the effect will be the same. A wide sweeping government gun round up, likely unequalled in history.
