⬆⬆ A confusion of terms does not help debate. The abolition of private gun ownership is a very different thing from, say, a law banning those on the "no fly" list or "terror watch" list from being able to purchase a gun. "Gun control"(regulations) is not equivalent to gun abolition. Real debate is impossible if distortion of terms is constantly employed.

Huh? If that's the case you guys would have to back up all the way to 1947 and Everson vs Board of Education. The great scourge of the misapplied and redefined notion of separation of Church and State overshadows our people yet today. I mean, you take guileful word distortions out of the equation and liberals would have to completely pack it in. From trying to say the there is no mention of God in the Constitution and our system of law was therefore not grounded in Christian principles, to saying that butchering upwards of a hundred million of our own unborn or recently born, is somehow lawful under the misapplied concept of a woman's right to privacy, guile is all you guys got. Ask those who make a living rewriting text books and history books.

Satan plowed the road for the liberal. He first twisted the words of God Himself when he 'debated' as you put it, with Eve. God said clearly that in the day man ate of the forbidden tree, death would enter into what was up until that time a perfect harmony of creation. After Satan's friendly little debate with her, she ate of the tree anyway and sin entered into the world. In fact, debate got us from the days of clarity in this land, in that the dividing line between that which was considered to be right and wrong; Has been blurred by endless compromising and debate about what the meaning of is, is, thereby making it, or 'transforming' it if you like, from a crisp clean line into a vast gray smudge which has now overlapped and eclipsed rational thought. All we get done is debate or arguing with those who want to see Godly absolutes compromised away completely. Hence, we all have to deal with the aftermath of things like the repeal to DADT.

And again, after the removal of DADT, legislation which seemed only to define the first legal baby step, immediately became a giant leap for mankind into the dark, as America continues to temp fate in venturing ever farther into that which the founders tried to warn about and spare us from.
