With that attitude we will eventually get what we want...the end of political parties. This election more than ever has shown people they do not need to be tied to a political party and over the next decade you will finally start seeing the end to caring about who gets nominations and every candidate will run as 3rd party whether they win or not.

You may be right, Gut. There is nothing special about a two party system. Maybe we will end up with many viable political parties forming coalitions to control Congress and that might not be a bad thing to happen. But countries with more than two major parties still have their own problems. The same people will be running things, regardless of how many parties split the vote.
