Amos McCreary Named Bell County Head Football Coach

If everyone will think, we haven't had actual spring practice in the past 4 years. Yes our kids have ran some plays in spring without any pads or helmets, but NO spring practice! So all Bell Faithful need to be patient and realize we are gonna be fine.

Not exactly true statements. The last year they did not do full contact spring practice but they did do something. The kids are very behind. December to who knows when is not some weightlifting. McCreary maybe a good coach but he is not a magician. No conditioning will expose problems that will keep on giving throughout the season I am afraid. His brother who will call plays is not exactly well thought of in Harlan Co. What experience does he have calling plays on any level?

Not the time to panic? When is the time? You need to be telling that to the parents I have talked too. They are starting to question everything. You can't just show up and play. It doesn't work that way and if you know anything about Bell Co. football you know why the sucess has been made. Can't buy it at the Wal-Marts as the old man said many times.

I think the bigger issue here is that I hear jobs are shifting and the McCreary's may not get the jobs they were promised. Or at least that is what a few people that "should" know are saying. Going to end up being just like all the past coaches and be in a classroom.
