Racing is much more than driving around in circles to waste gas. You all ever been 200+ mph with a car inches from you trying not to mess up your line you are running?
Me either, but I respect that ability for them to do what they do for a living. My uncle races dirt track and is going about 100 miles an hour sideways through turns. Now imagine the G's that puts on your body constantly sitting there having the car jerking you around and around.
