If you think a teenage kid is ready to throw 100 pitches in March then I hope you are far from the game, even though we know you're not. I don't care if you started them throwing in October, it's not the same as game speed, on the mound pitching. Which brings me to my other point, if these kids are throwing simulated games in the winter then it's in worse shape then I thought. I know you play play fall ball. So when is their rest time? These are teenage kids who are still growing everyday. They need more rest than anybody to allow their body's to catch up to the work their arms are doing. Proof is always in the pudding. So all you really have to do is look at the injuries they've had an that'll answer all doubt about what I'm saying. I'm not saying it's only LC either. There seems to be a lot doing it.

First off, you have no clue who I am. My kid graduated, but I'm still a fan. Secondly, the schedule ended at the state tourney last year, no ball for June or July, starting a fall schedule in September and October, no throwing again for November or December, then picked it up in January. If you would like, there are articles from doctors (Kremcheck, etc.) that say taking 2 months off after a season is perfect......
