Several thousand registered democrats took Republican ballots to vote for Kasich. Sorry 64Sur, Kasich has ZERO chance of winning the election in his own house, much less getting enough ballots for the nomination!

I had not heard that but I'm not at all surprised to hear that it happened. But it demonstrates what I have been saying about this primary cycle.

We started last summer with 17 Republican candidates for President. We've had debates and townhalls and speeches ad nauseam. And after enduring a nuclear fueled 24/7 news loop that absolutely, from their perspective, cannot ever overdo the coverage, we find ourselves down to one guy with a mathematical path to the nomination. Now, those who continue to insist that Trump is in some way an illegitimate front runner, they might want to consider the odds of that ever happening if the people were not voting for him. Especially when effort after effort after establishment scheme to derail his candidacy, have been launched almost daily. In this case we have seen the establishment reveal their true face and it's way uglier than we feared.

Kasich, is in it now to derail Trump. Marco fell on his sword because he lost Florida. Kasich is still in the race only because he is like the little leaguer who caught that grounder with his eyes closed. Somehow Ohio went to Kasich. But Kasich needs money despite his assurances to the contrary, and it should be interesting to see how the money is going to magically find it's way into his campaign fund. But from the way he acts when he speaks, one has to wonder why a guy who has basically done nada in this primary would feel so grandiose about his prospects to become President. Like I said, even he gets every one of the remaining delegates, he would still fall far short of the 1237 number he needs. If he stays through the whole thing until the convention, then by some miracle (with a little help) be could once again be standing in the right spot. Could it be that Republican kingmakers have told him the convention fix is in?

The people have very likely had it up their ears with the lies. The problem for Republicans is that the Dems were so good at it they used up all the slack the people were willing to suffer. In other words, the tolerance is gone. If they think people will get over it if they force somebody like Kasich on them, they're in for a very rude awakening. Or not, heck, it could be an intelligence issue.
