Buckhorn (19-15) VS Murray (29-5)

These two teams only have one common opponent, Cordia. Both were defeated by double digits, but Buckhorn did only lose by 3 when they played again. Murray has beaten some good teams, but Buckhorn plays harder than probably any other team in the state. I'm going with the Horn by 4. I'm definitely biased though.


Trinity (29-6) VS Newport Central Catholic (28-4)

Trinity has defeated Lawrence County while Lawrence defeated Newport Central Catholic early in the season. Trinity also has a win over Dunbar. I have Trinity by 8.


Dunbar (29-6) VS Mercer County (33-1)

Potential to be the game of the tournament. They have four common opponents. Mercer's only loss was to Lafayette while Dunbar beat them 3 times. Dunbar lost to Madison Central while Mercer beat them by 2. Dunbar has definitely had the rougher schedule, and are battle tested. Both teams have played against other teams in the tournament. Mercer has defeated South Laurel and Dunbar lost to Taylor County. I have no idea who to pick in this game but I am going to pick Mercer.


Bowling Green (30-2) VS Elliott County (22-7)

Bowling Green made it to the championship game last year and has had an awesome season. Elliott County ran through the 16th regional tournament but I do not see them giving Bowling Green too much trouble. I have Bowling Green winning by 15 or so.
