I agree that the Arena is a terrible place for basketball games. But I don't think that it is as much the depth perception, as much as it is the rock hard rims. Even soft layups bounces around the rim for 5 seconds. After talking to several players about the actual shooting and playing on the floor, they don't seem to think it's any different as any other gym, but they despised the rims.

Harlan actually shot a higher pct. on their FG attempts last night than their yearly pct. They hit 45.7% last night and 43.2% on the year. Their FT pct. was down from 68.2% in the regular season to 56.3% last night, although they did hit 14-19 in the 4Q for 73.7%.
