1. Ashland hasn't won the region in 14 years.
2. They will miss the older Villers who regularly scored between 1/3 and 1/2 of their points each game.
3. The future talent in the cupboard remains more bare than ever.
4. It seems like the system needs to beef up its program in the lower grades. The Villers boys, born and developed in Ironton (Ty Barnes's nephews) and not in Ashland, were often the whole offense.
5. Next season should be no better and possibly worse.
6. Howell deserves the support of Ashland fans from the Booster Club to the Optimist Club and all spots in between. He had very little to work with this season.
7. Congratulations to Fairview. Rex should be proud.
