Congratulations to Peyton Broughton who passed 2,000 career points last night. He had a superb game last night, had to have close to 40, showed off all his offensive skills, threes, scoring off the block, mid-range jumpers, put backs, a couple of alley-oop dunks, and he has really improved his free throw shooting, which is big because he does get to the line a lot.
Barbourville will be a dangerous first round matchup for someone in the 13th regional tournament if they get there, because they can flat out score. Brent Perry is an excellent guard, and Turner is very talented, they are just lacking some as a team down on the block. Broughton, Jeffers and Asher just wore on them down low as the game went on.
