I Applaud Buckhorn for scheduling Cordia. I really hate when people talk about recruiting and all that crap. In reality, if they're of age, then no one should care to play them. That school of thought is the "Everybody should get a participation Trophy" school of thought. That's what's making kids, and for the most part, our country weak today. It's to easy to make excuses. If you tell your kids and teach your kids that you'll schedule and play anyone, because you have confidence they'll play hard win or lose, at the end of the day, your team will be much better than if you were on the side of griping because of recruiting. So Buckhorn, and everyone else who schedules teams like that, I applaud you.

It might be argued that playing fast and loose with ethics, with standards of conduct, with a sense of balance and fairness did almost destroy our economy, and did, in fact, hurt a whole bunch of people who were innocent of any wrongdoing at all. (See financial crisis). Winning, no matter the price to ethics and fairness, is close to gaining wealth as a consuming desire that blinds to all other considerations.
