To be honest, there's not a coach in the country, down double digits with 2 minutes to go, going to say, "Let's see what our 3rd or 4th options can do." Clay County had one choice at that point, let the one player that can do that go to work. Now, as for the entire game, our shots just were not falling. The shots Blake Smith was taking were what he does every single night. He got blocked a few times early and that could have made him think about things but in the second half, he got open quite a bit and the ball still would not stay in. Nights like this happen, it's early January. Relax.

Was this really a shock in people's minds? Two one-loss teams that are traditionally good? It does not shock me. Clay County is good but did some of you all really rank us top-10 or something? I feel as though both of these teams are top 25 quality.

I agree with a lot of what you're saying, but the Clay faithful and family members has been the ones putting them on here as favorites this, and favorites that. Even saw someone saying they would make a push at state, and comparing themselves to UK, as far as people getting up to play them. I say let it all play out, and come tournament time it will sort itself out.
