No I don't think North or Harlan are clearly better than those teams either, any matchup with them would be basically toss up games, I just give them a little edge based on their play to date.
As for why I would put Clay over South (right now), I go back to the old reliable, the eye-test. I've seen every legit region team at least once, South and Clay three times each, and so far Clay just looks a little more in sync to me. I don't argue though that South has basically every ingredient to be really, really good. But man they let inferior teams hang around too often, might bite them when it matters most.

South lets pike central and corbin hang around and its bad but clay lets bell and whitley hang around and escape the dreaded at corbin with 5 point win and thats good. I think they both have let teams hang around. gonna be fun over next few months.
