I had heard she was injured in the 1st minute of a scrimmage with Pike Central on Thursday night. Just spoke with one of the coaches from Sheldon Clark and was told Emily found out late yesterday evening from MRI and meeting with orthopedic surgeon that she had torn her ACL and will require surgery. She will be lost for the season. Major blow for the lady cards, as she was rated at the top of 15th region best players. She had signed a scholarship offer from UPike last Tuesday. Will this effect her commitment to UPike? Do college teams still honor this offer or can they withdraw it due to injury? Where does Sheldon Clark go from here?
