Governor Steve Beshear will be out of the Governor's mansion by the 7th of next month, and I can't say that I will miss him. As a matter of fact, there is optimism in the sweet Kentucky air as liberalism must take a back seat to sanity for at least the coming four years.

Governor elect Bevin has already made it clear to the Obama Administration that Kentucky will not be accepting any Syrian refugees. None the less, I wonder if Kentuckians are prepared to grapple with the Beshear legacy.

This demonstrates what I have contended from the outset of the Dem's clandestine midnight push-through of the Bill. ObamaCare is a redistribution scheme set up to force the gainfully employed, the responsible and the motivated, to pay for people who do not or will not work. At any rate, it is clear that the productive and the self reliant of the state's populace will be expected to pay for 25% of the people who live here to have health care. And I hate to pour cold water on the Mr Bevin's celebration but, the federal subsidies meant to kick things off are getting ready to be passed off to the State level. He/we have our hands full.

That's the mess i'm waiting to see what happens. I know people that work everyday but their jobs just don't offer insurance, i have no problem with those getting help of some kind. I also know people that won't get off their butts to work for anything, and expect everything to be given to them. What surprises me most, talking to folks on the interwebz, is people that thinks it's ok that we just hand everything to people regardless if they are lazy or not. They actually think it's cruel to cut the lazy off. I'm not sure what Bevin will do, but i honestly do think things are going to change. As for Beshear, he said he hopes Bevin will consult him before making changes, yeah i wouldn't hold my breath on that happening. I find myself having to stay away from certain sites lately due to the fact that i want to choke people that thinks everything should be given to them or given to others. It's mind boggling how people have changed over the last 4 years. I'm sure it's been happening longer than that, but that's just about as long as i've really started to pay attention.
