This conference gets each team 6 games and the one and two seeds and extra game, so it's good work for the teams and not a lot of driving. The only disappointing thing is Casey's numbers were really down by the end of the season.

Agreed. Would love to see the conference add a couple more nearby JV teams to enable a some type of two-division setup. Each team could play each division opponent twice and each out-of-division opponent once.

For instance:

East Division: North Laurel, Rockcastle County, Somerset
West Division: Casey County, Russell County, Wayne County

A setup like that would help ensure each JV team 7 games (or 8, if they reach the conference title game). And they could always pick up another game or two out-of-conference if they wanted.
