How many SV home games have you been to this year BasketBallonlyfan besides the Pikeville game. Who are their usual refs if you know them. I go to every Valley game and they have no "usual" refs. The referees are assigned in high school, not chosen by the school. It is not like grade school. The old "we got cheated" cry might apply in grade school, but not in high school unless it might be a game against an out of region team. Mike Hall refereed last night and I can't remember him calling a Shelby Valley home game this year. Do you honestly believe that refs just flat out cheat?

I have been to 4 of their home games. The first one was Cordia. I know for a fact in that game, the first 4 or 5 trips down the court, Valley was givin breaks by fouls being called against Cordia when the Valley players did the same thing on the other end and it was ok. I belive that the home team should have a break here and there. Kinda of like not calling a foul if it is questionable. Maybe even let them get away with a walk or two. I was not at this game, but the way it sounds it was a VERY bad call with the not calling walking but a foul instead. To make a call like that that could determine the outcome of a game isnt right for anyone to do. Home team or not.
