I will say one thing and I've said it before. I don't understand why a coach would keep his future kids on the sideline and play the varsity when a game is out of reach. I could see if it was the last game of the season letting the seniors play but not in the season opener. This game was 42-14 and LC coaching staff started playing the JV and Boyd had every starter in. As for the game very, very sloppy. This season is starting just like last season. The offense will be fine but the defensive problems continue. Way to many athletes on this defense to be playing like this IMO. At some point this program needs to find some defense and it's not the kids fault! I will post more about the game when I get a chance, had to go strait to work after the game lol!

why was schafer on the sideline instead of playing inside lb. he is 6'3 and 210 lbs and could have plugged some holes. at one point lc had two db's on the field that were 5'7 and less than 150lbs. surely they have some bigger players. i think the offense will be fine but if the defense does not change by next week it will be short season. the only reason lc won this game was the bc defense was way overmatched. this wont happen against belfry.
