I usually stick up for Republicans on here because they generally tend to espouse traditional American values and their party platform does not include planks for abortion on demand, gay rights and liberal interests, particularly the global warming lie.

But you're exactly right, Trump speaks plainly and the establishment politicians don't like that one bit. Career politicians got co-opted into their party's "brand" upon arriving on the hill, and not venturing out of that brand-safe-haven offers them protection and cover. It truly is sickening to listen to them evade a question by leaning on talking points. I'm with you, I like the direct answers Trump gives and I agree that the rest of the field is scared to death of him.

Frankly, I hope Rove and the rest of the President makers don't get over their political heartburn until the election is over. The more I hear Trump speak the more I like him. McCain is a typical establishment RINO and a members only snob that needs to get shoved out of the way by a new generation Republican.

I'm with you, i've always took up for Republicans whether it be here or any forum. BUT as of late they are making it hard for me to do that. Take Mccain for example, in the past i would argue on his behalf just because he was a fellow vet, and a republican, but after seeing that his state is the worst for VA care, and seeing how he hasn't supported other vets, and not only not supported but actually hurt vets then i lost all respect for the man as a Senator. Yeah, i'll give you he was a POW, but the reason he was a POW was because he disobeyed orders, had he not been shot down, he probably would have been kicked out. Either way, i'll give him his respect as a POW, but other than that, he's just a RINO that hasn't done anything in a very long time.
