I knew I could get some responses. As far as Mayfield scheduling Highlands, or Bowling Green should any 2a team be expected to compete with them most years. A team should schedule competitive games, that I call 50/50 games that you can win, or that you can lose. Doesn't make sense either way to schedule many games where there is a very heavy favorite. You cant put Pulaski in that group, and by the way the phone rings both ways, and Pulaski hasn't rang mayfields phone either begging for a game.

I expected a pity story David vs. Goliath response. It's common among discussions with fans of lower classes. Not my first rodeo in that department. You all bark a lot, but will never run with the big dogs. It's not Pulaski's obligation to reach out to a 2A school. Not much to gain and everything to lose honestly. I'm sure if Mayfield called, PC would listen...assuming the schedule was flexible. Highly doubt PC would "beg" any 2A school. Somerset learned that lesson most recently and they're just a mile up the road. Pulaski has a ring now and are in position to make some moves to get more in the future. They're in the category. Historically, I'd put Highlands and BG on top of course, but right now, PC is definitely in the discussion.
