Coach could be hired without posting but a teaching job you would give a coach would have to be posted.

Pretty sure nepotism doesn't apply to extracurricular activities especially jobs that are on yearly contract like an asst coach.

Like papgrit said many of our districts wouldn't have coaches if all of this was applied.

I will say this many of you guys act as if there are a lot of people out there willing to do the job of coaching. There isn't. Probably less in McCreary where success has been hard to come by. I don't think I'm going out on a limb in saying that your new head coach would welcome as much help as possible no matter who it is.
