Actually, I understand your sentiments. I, on the other hand, hope you are wrong. Privates have won the Class A Girls, the Class A Boys, and the Sweet Sixteen Girls this year. I'd be quite pleased with a clean sweep. And, of course, CovCath won the Sweet Sixteen last year and NCC has won three straight Class A Boys titles. On the other hand, if Cov Cath does win again, the cry will be loud and long to get rid of the privates. So much for government school "exceptionalism".

And, I must add that all of that bevy of champions hail from our Ninth Region.
