Chapman introduced as Head Coach at Knott

So your saying the states leading rusher in Derek Homer was an average team at best. Giw bout we just say every class is weak and the state champion just played in a weak class the year they win. Highlands won all their state championships when their class was weak too I guess. So did trinity, belfry, boyle county, etc. these guys can't help what class they play in. What district they play in. I say if you win a state title there should be some kind of respect earned. Lawrence County in 1997 was lights out good. But ended up getting beat by bourbon in the state semi finals. Teams are good. They just can't help who they play on the road to a title. Wiznut Chapman was and still is a great coach. I never said other wise. All I am saying to bulldog is if a team wins a title they have earned the respect to say hey we are state champions regardless of how strong or weak their class is. If that was the case. Let's just let the winners from each class play each other and determine a full state champion. But we would have to make 2 more classes or take 2 classes away. In that 4 class system a state title was huge. That's just my opinion though. When I played they only took the district champ and runner up. It's changes a lot since then.

I ll give you that bobcat good points  shorten it up next time though alright
