What new facilities are being built? I think the biggest X factor to Sheldon Clark is their non district schedule. That's going to give more life to the program than anything, because as far as finding a coach....they will be hard pressed to find somebody better than Shawn Hager. As good? Maybe. Better? That's a stretch.

What I do know is they can't keep on playing Ashland, Hazard, Pikeville, Prestonsburg (even though I know it's a long time rival) to go along with their district of Belfry, Lawrence and Pike Central who they have to play.

The new Martin County High School is currently under architect plans. The blueprint shows all new sports fields surrounding the school. Even with a separate practice football field. The school will be built along the new Callaham highway going from Inez-Warfield-WV.
