IMO Smith was a good QB prospect that Joker ruined by playing him when he was not mature enough to handle the pounding a SEC QB has to endure. Smith had a compact quick throwing motion. IMO Stoops has done a good job handling his QB's. He redshirted Towles and Barker and it will pay off in the long run. Towles had a decent season this past year and was able survive the terrible O-Line play.
