But I do agree, STUDENT is before the athlete. But sports is a major part of learning. For some students, sports is the only way they will get a chance to go to college.
Each sport receives a budgeted amount of money from the taxpayers i.e. the board of ed. Now an issue comes up, such as concussions in football. They were allocating $100.00 per helmet but now its $300.00 per helmet. They have a life span of 5 years. This is not handled by the QB Club. I do not think that anybody in Lawrence County has a "sick, twisted belief" about anything involving any LC sport.
