I feel badly for Middlesboro. They graduated several skilled players and then lost both basketball coaches. That's a kick in the pants when you're trying to build a program, and I hear that there isn't a lot of support for the sports program from the administration.

I've always like Middlesboro and love the support from their fan base, especially the student section!

As far as the coach's wife is concerned, I've seen her act ugly before. I wasn't surprised to hear that she had been thrown out.

I saw her get thrown out of a baseball game, to be little she sure is loud. You have talent in that school system, but I will say it again, these kids and parents get tired of playing kids just because of who they are. It has caught up with them. I didn't know two coaches quit. Thompson left and Shackleford was his assistant and he took over. I haven't a clue who his assistants are. The only support you are going to get from administration is for football and you see what a mess that turned out to be. Middlesboro's fans are wonderful and I am glad at least they are out there supporting them.
