UK isn't South Carolina. South Carolina doesn't have that elephant in the room.....plus they hired one of the top college football coaches in the country. I'm not hung up on the star system but it has its merits. And the big boys of the SEC load up with the better players. Again, until the environment changes in BBN you will not see any consisentcy.

I do agree with this but I would definitely argue that it is changing quite a bit. What people fail to realize is that UK did have a good environment and atmosphere around it for a long time despite losing. After Rich Brooks when we started to feel a lot of momentum being pumped into the program UK failed on 2 fronts.
1. They didn't explore stadium and facility upgrades that Brooks begged for for years.
2. They didn't try to make a better head coaching hire than Joker Philips.
