Winning the 1a title and making it 7-0 against your dominant NKy 1a school, along the way. Again, Highlands carries the banner for NKy, as they typically do. DH was fortunate to get put on the opposite side of the bracket as the Super Conference and the other better 6a teams, Scott Co, Meade Co, C.Hardin, McCracken, etc.. Otherwise, they would have been put out in 1st or 2nd round.. Had NCC had to come out of the west, they, too, would have been eliminated in 1st or 2nd round.. NCC was the best of the east, but, around 7th in there class.
