Interesting breakdown. 1A has been dominated by the west for the most part. Only 2 state titles in the last alignment, Hazard and LCA. Though its arguably been more competitive from hear to year and created a common happening of a team losing one year, then getting back and being either more competitive or winning the following. I think the new alignment will help single A across the board though. More chances for schools to be successfull in the playoffs will more than likely help drum up numbers. Something many shools desperately need .
